Hi,
Thanks for your feedback, this was a project we had in mind but considering the browser incompatibility it is a bit risky to implement that (not all users are specialist in file format here
We are watching the new format HEIC/HEIF that seems to be implemented very fast and will certainly replace the jpeg in upcoming years.
